The Shivapuri hike offers a brief and leisurely excursion amidst the breathtaking Shivapuri
Nagarjun National Park, nestled near Kathmandu. This scenic hike presents stunning
panoramas of the neighboring villages within the Kathmandu Valley. Situated just 25
kilometers from the capital city, Kathmandu, Shivapuri Village stands as a quintessential
destination resort in Nepal. Despite being near urban life, Shivapuri Village authentically

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu and drive to Sundarijal (approx. 1hr
drive). Hiking starts from Sundarijal, for the first few hours we climb steeply up following
the huge water pipe. On the way you can see the waterfalls, passing through the Shivapuri
National Park so you can see wild animals. We have short break for lunch on the way and
continues walk to Chisapani (2150m.), Overnight at Hotel.
Early in the morning after breakfast, we explore the places around Chisapani and enjoy the
panoramic views of mountains around. Then we make our way down the trail through the
other less marked side of Shivapuri national park and small villages and reach
Budanilkantha. From Budhanilkantha, drive back to Kathmandu.
